Public Sector Software Solutions

Summary

This framework, let under the Procurement Act 2023, will support central government and the wider public sector in buying software. This includes Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions deployed in the cloud, on premise or hybrid.

Description

This agreement helps public sector organisations buy software more easily. It brings together our current software buying routes into one flexible framework.

The agreement will help organisations find innovative software solutions and support strategic procurement initiatives like centralised buying. This aligns with government priorities for more efficient and effective public spending.

Benefits

  • access to multiple suppliers and software services, including through direct contracting relationships and a number of small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs)
  • access to aggregation (collective buying), so you can save money when buying software access to the latest software technology and innovation, including artificial intelligence (AI)

Customer engagement

Virtual customer engagement workshops will be held in March 2026. Public sector customers can use these sessions to provide feedback.
